SRI VALEESWARAR TEMPLE,  RAMAGIRI This beautiful temple situated in Ramagiri, Andhra Chittor Dist, situated under small hill amidst green and picturesque view with small hills surrounding the temple.
On the Hill samll Sri Murugan Temple is situated. ( about 500 steps)
The main deighty is SRI VALEESWARAR and SRI MARAGATHAMBIGAI AMBAL. Here SRI VALEESWARAR is ISAANAM face. This is one among PANCHA BRAHMA STHALAMS.  (Lord Siva has 5 faces - Isnnam, Thathpurusham, Vaamadevam, Sathyojatham and Agoram. All temples with Lord Siva with all these faces are situated on the banks of River Arni)
Though this is Lord Siva temple, but here main deighty for poojas and prarthanai done to SRI KALA BAIRAVAR, who has separate shrine. He is also called as SANTHANA PRAAPTHI BAIRAVAR.
Those want child will come here and pray SANTHANA PRAAPTHI BAIRAVAR for child.
Here the UPPER PORTION of LINGAM is TILTED towards RIGHT SIDE (This Lingam, brought from Kasi to Sri Ramar by Sri Hanuman for pooja at Rameshwaram, given to Sri Kala Bairavar to hold but he put it on the ground. And Sri hanuman trying to lift and also with his strong tails - so slightly tilted - but could't. So Sri Anjaneyar left it here gone to Kasi for another Lingam to Rameshwaram) because Sri Anjaneyar trying to lift by his tail. So this name Sri Valeeswarar and Ramagiri. This temple is very old ( 9th Century AD).
There is pond with full of water (all through the year)
. Here water is coming out through the mouth of Nandhi always.Also called as Nandhi Theertham.
Here the Pradosham is not celebrated.
On entering the temple you will see  SRI KALA BAIRAVAR in separate Shrine with 3 DOGS in front side. In the Small Corridor  you can see Sri Kalika Devi in small shrine. Inside Lord Siva Shrine - Big with tilted top, and in front is small Nandhi and Sri ANJANEYAR. This very rare Sri Anjaneyar facing Lord Siva. Sri Maragathambigai Ambal in separate shrine in Madisar. On the inner side other forms of Lord Bairavar, Sri Dakshina Murthy, Sri Murugar, Sri Durga, Sri Agasthiyar and small carving Sri Anjaneyar Pulling Lord Siva.

Timings : 8 AM to 11.45 AM and 3.00 PM to 5.45 PM (as little inside remote area better visit in morning time)
Car parking is available. Ammavasai will be crowded.

PUTLUR - SRI ANGALA PARAMESWARI AMMAN Putlur a small village 7 KMs from Thiruvallur on the Thiruvallur - Avadi - Chennai highway. A beautiful temple but small one crowded always.
