This is very old temple, first of the Natarajar Sabais - RATHINA SABAI ( others are Por Sabai- Chidambaram, Velli Sabai- Madurai, Thamira Sabai - Tirunelveli, and Chithira Sabai- Coutrallam)- Oorthava Thandavam.
Here Sivan known as Sri VADARANYESWARAR, Not touched by human hands (THEENDA THIRUMENI) and Ambal is Sri VANDAR KUZHALI AMMAN Here Lord Siva competed with Goddess Kali. So whoever visits first see Goddess Kali -temple just outside, then go in to temple.
Another feature in this temple a separate sannathi for Sri Mantheeswarar ( son of Sani Bagawan). Here Sani preethi are performed in Sri Mantheeswarar sannathi
Really majestic Gopuram and very clean corridors.
So many years of prayers, once you enter you can feel goodness in your mind.
One of the beautiful Sivan temple one should visit.
Poojai things are available outside shops.

Temple is well connected from Thiruvalangadu Railway station, Buses form Thiruvallur and Arakonam plenty


Temple Timings are : 6.00 AM to 12 Noon and 4.00 PM to 8.00 PM


Location: From Chennai is about 66 KMs. From Thiruvallur is 17 KMs. Chennai - Thiruvallur and take Arakonam route you can find temple in Thiruvalangadu Village
